UPCAT 2015 Exam Dates | Application Form | Pattern

UPCAT 2015 is popularly known as Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test. UPCAT is a national level exam conducted by the Association of Private Medical and Dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh. UPCAT exam is conducted for the student who wants to take admission into Under-Graduate Dental Course. The exam is taken to get admission into BDS course in various private colleges in the state of Uttar-Pradesh. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a five year course, run under the aegis of Dental Council of India. The UPCAT 2015 exam will be held in the month of June.UPCAT 2015 Eligibility Criteria are as follows:-

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• He / She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course
• For admissions to BDS course the candidate must pass in the 12th (HSC) class examination with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In case the candidate belongs to a reserved category this percentage would be 40%.

• Chemistry
• Biology (Botany and Zoology)

• Exam paper will consists of multiple choice questions.
• 1 mark for every correct answer
• No negative marking

• After filling the form, it has to be sent to the Association along with the DD of payment of Application Fee and other required documents.

For Indian Resident by cash : Rs. 1000 and by demand draft : Rs. 1050
For NRI/PIO candidates : US$ 50
