GPAT 2015 is popularly known as Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. GPAT is an all India Examination conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. GPAT is conducted for the students seeking admission in all post-graduate pharmacy programmes. AICTE has started conducting the computer based online national level GPAT test since last year for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all post-graduate pharmacy programmes approved by AICTE. The GPAT exam is usually held in the month February-March.

GPAT 2015 Eligibility


  • Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course ONLY are eligible for appearing in GPAT-2013 Examination.
  • [B. Pharmacy 1st year to 3rd year students are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in GPAT-2013 Examination. Any inquiry in this regard will not be entertained]

  • GPAT 2015 will be a computer based test
  • The qualifying marks for General and OBC category students are 125 marks and qualifying marks for SC, ST and PD are 100 marks
  • Correct answers are worth 4 marks each and negative marking of -1 mark for each incorrect answer is applicable

GPAT 2015 Registration


  • Fill online form from 6th November, 2013 to 7th January, 2014 on website www.aicte-gpat.in
  • Choice of 3 cities for online examination in the order of preference.
  • Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city
  • Test fees for General/OBC GPAT 2014 Rs.1200 + Bank charges as applicable and for SC/ST/PD Rs.600 + Bank charges as applicable
